The Great Doggy Bake Off 2021 is now underway!

We’re inviting you and your pooches chance to unleash your inner Paul Colliewood by baking homemade treats! We can’t wait to see the results and we bet your dog can’t wait to taste them.

This years competition is kicking off with Chicken Sat-stay Biscuits. Dogs love peanut butter and chicken, so combining them was a no brainer to get tails wagging!

Follow the recipe below and make sure to send us a snap of the finished result… if your dog doesn’t scoff it before you can of course!

Please Note: We are not doggy nutritionists and every dog is an individual. What might be good for most might not be good for another. Always tailor each recipe to your own dog’s needs and tastes. It’s also important to note that these are treats and should be fed sparingly. If you have any questions about your dog’s diet, please contact your vet. If you notice your dog has any adverse reaction to any of the treats stop feeding immediately and contact your vet.

Chicken Satay Biscuits

Ingredients

There are so many options available for gluten-free flour. Options include Whole-wheat flour, Almond flour, Buckwheat flour and Coconut flour (to name a few).

You’ll also want to opt for natural peanut butter, make sure it has no xylitol as it’s harmful to our pooches. Also, make sure it’s free from palm oil with no added salt/sugar. You can find this in most supermarkets. We love this Poochbutter from Nuts for Pets.

When it comes to honey, we recommend opting for raw honey whenever possible, as it will be in its purest form and has not been pasteurised, heated, or processed we love this one from Black Bee Honey supporting British Bees and their Keepers.

You may also want to grab a couple of cookie cutters to make some small quirky shapes, check out these dog-shaped cookie cutters.
