Dog Furiendly Raise An Egg-cellent £400 for Four Paws South Wales

Our Easter Egg Hunt at Garwnant Visitor Centre raised £400 for Four Paws Animal Rescue, who rescue dogs from Local Authority pounds which have a euthanasia policy if they are not re-homed or claimed within seven days. Your donations will help with with vet bills, treatment, emergency boarding kennels, running costs, dog food and so much more.

Over 250 dogs took part with their families and we are so grateful for everyones supporting in fundraising for such a great cause.

Founder of Dog Furiendly, Adele Pember said: “We are extremely grateful to everyone who came along, braved the rain and made the day a great success. The Easter Egg Hunt was a great opportunity for both humans and our four legged friends to have some fun while raising awareness for such a worthy cause”

Louise Owens, from Just Perfect Catering, said, “As a nation of animal lovers, and a dog owner myself, we are delighted to have raised such a considerable amount for Four Paws South Wales.  This small and passionate charity rely heavily on donations and every penny raised will go towards the dogs, paying for food, vets bills and treatment.”

Four Paws Animal Rescue, South Wales is built by a network of foster carers who give the hard to home dogs a loving home. Here they are assessed and cared for without the stresses of a kennel. They try to re-home as many dogs as they can, but also work closely with other charities. During 2016 more than 700 animals were received into their care. They need your help, whether that’s rehoming a dog, donating or becoming a foster carer.
