In this blog post, we’ll hear all about Jake’s adventures at The County Yurt. From his favourite walks to the extra special touches, Jake has plenty of insights to share from his stay. So sit back, relax, and get ready to discover the magic of The County Yurt at Welsh Farm Glamping through the eyes of Jake the Weimaraner!

We had the pleasure of staying at The County Yurt at Welsh Farm Glamping, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a thoughtful pack for our furry friend, which included a paw towel for muddy paws. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a smores and hot chocolate goodie bag with marshmallows, squirty cream, and chocolate digestives waiting for us.

The yurt itself was beautifully decorated with a warm and welcoming feel, and we were touched to find a welcome note with some delicious Welshcakes and freshly cut daffodils on the table. It was such a beautiful and welcoming touch that made us feel right at home.

The large garden surrounding the yurt was hedged all around and private (although not fenced). The shower and toilet were located outside of the yurt, along with the outdoor fire pit, pizza oven, seating area, and of course, the hot tub! We spent many evenings relaxing in the hot tub, gazing up at the stars and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

The yurt also had its own private woodland walk, and we were provided with a small booklet to help us spot and identify some of the rich abundance of UK wildlife in the area. During our stay, we saw several kites soaring above, and the daffodils and snowdrops were just emerging all around. It was a lovely way to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the Welsh countryside.

On the recommendation of our hosts, we also visited Monkstone Beach, which was about a half-hour drive from where we were staying. It was a picturesque spot with stunning views and a great place to relax and unwind.

Overall, our stay at The County Yurt at Welsh Farm Glamping was wonderful. The thoughtful touches and attention to detail made it a truly special experience. I would highly recommend this glamping site to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique getaway in the Welsh countryside.
