Fancy making a splash with your dog this September? We’ve teamed up with some brilliant dog-friendly businesses to give one lucky dog and their human the ultimate Dogtember day out at Saltdean Lido, with a prize bundle worth up to £120.
And there’s more! Four runners-up will also win a pair of tickets to Dogtember, so there are five chances to win.
What is Dogtember?
If your dog loves the water, Dogtember deserves a spot on their bucket list.
Taking place at the iconic Saltdean Lido near Brighton, Dogtember is one of the biggest dog swimming events in the UK, giving dogs the chance to take over the Lido for four weekends of swimming, splashing and zoomies. Dogtember 2026 takes place across four weekends, from 12th September to 4th October 2026, with sessions throughout each day.
Dogs can make the most of Saltdean Lido’s heated 40-metre outdoor pool, complete with wide, shallow steps for easy access. There’s also a gently sloping splash pool with a slide and water spouts for dogs who would rather paddle than dive straight in.
The entire site is secure, with plenty of grass for post-swim zoomies too.
Dogtember is organised and stewarded by volunteers, with the event raising money for the Saltdean Lido Trust.

One lucky winner will receive a Dogtember bundle worth up to £120, including:

Dogtember will take place at Saltdean Lido across:

19th – 20th September 2026
26th – 27th September 2026
3rd – 4th October 2026
There are a mixture of general sessions and selected sessions for different dogs and breed meet-ups. Humans can choose to swim alongside their dogs or watch the fun from poolside.
