Dog Owners Guide has been named a finalist for UK Pet Influencer of the Year 2026 at the UK Pet Industry Awards!
It’s been a pretty huge year for DOG, with lots changing both outwardly and behind the scenes, so to make the shortlist really does mean a lot.
Everything we do at Dog Owners Guide is for the dog owner community. Whether we’re discovering brilliant dog-friendly places, sharing honest reviews, putting together guides to help you plan your next adventure or simply making it easier to find places where our dogs are genuinely welcome.
And now, we need your help.
The winner is chosen by YOU
The UK Pet Industry Awards are 100% publicly voted, with no judging panel deciding the winners.
So, if Dog Owners Guide has helped you discover somewhere new, plan a dog-friendly trip, find something to do with your dog or simply inspired your next adventure, we would absolutely love your vote.
Voting is open from 1st September until 1st November 2026, with the winners announced on 27th November 2026.
A personal note from me
I’ll admit, I don’t really think of myself as an influencer in the traditional sense. For me, Dog Owners Guide has always been about creating something genuinely useful for dog owners. Everything I do is ultimately for the dog owner community and there’s an enormous amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to keep making DOG bigger, better and more useful.
This nomination feels like recognition for everything we’ve been building and for the incredible community that is growing around it.
Being a finalist is something I’m genuinely very proud of. And yes… I’d absolutely love for us to win.
A personal note from me
It’s a really competitive category, and there are two other names on the shortlist that deserve a special mention.
One of our very own Ambassadogs, @livingthecolourfullife, has also been named a finalist, which is absolutely brilliant… And then there’s Lottie Gross, who you might recognise as a writer at Dog Owners Guide. Lottie has genuinely been such a wonderful support to me and DOG, particularly over the past year, and I’m so pleased to see her on the shortlist too.
So, while of course I would absolutely love your vote, if you don’t want to vote for me, that’s completely fine! I’d love for you to consider giving your vote to one of those two instead.
It feels pretty special to see three members of the wider DOG family recognised in the same category.
