So can dogs eat bananas? Let’s dive in!

How Are Bananas Good For Dogs?

Bananas have a great source of nutrients, including Vitamin B6 and C and Potassium. They’re also low in sodium and cholesterol, making the perfect snack or reward for your pup. Bananas are also high in fiber which helps with their digestive health and can sometimes act as a remedy for any tummy issues.

Bananas also contain magnesium, which can support bone growth and aid the absorption of protein and vitamins.

When Are Bananas Bad For Dogs?

Bananas contain sugar, which can be an issue for your pooch. Too many bananas can lead to gastro issues and diabetes. Additionally, as bananas contain high fiber content, this can lead to constipation.

One of the key things to remember is not to feed the peel to your pooch. It’s not toxic, but it is difficult for your dog to digest.

How To Feed Bananas?
