West Calder

Gate Lodge is a lovely three bedroom cottage in West Lothian, a short drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. This property allows up for up to six guests and one dog.

This beautiful home is decorated in neutral tones throughout and has a private garden area. With 1,000 acres of landscaped gardens in the estate, there is plenty of space for your dog to run around

In the surrounding area, you can your group can explore nearby West Calder for a pub lunch, the Five Sisters zoo or go for beautiful walks in Pentland Hills. That is, if you can tear yourself away from the cosy fireplace in the living area!

Rothesay, Isle of Bute

This traditional stone cottage is the perfect escape for four humans and two dogs. Kennels is situated on the Isle of Bute where there are walks aplenty for you and your pooch.

With two double bedrooms, a spacious kitchen and double wood burning stove, this cottage has everything you need for a trip away with friends or family.

The property is located in the grounds of Mount Stuart where there are beautiful walks to explore. If you’re looking for a day of adventure, then you can head into Rothesay to see castle ruins, the harbour or do some birdwatching.

We absolutely adore this stunning cosy cottage for two in Falkland. Dunira has space for two humans and one well behaved pooch which makes for the perfect romantic weekend away.

Combining both character and modern features, this cottage has the best of both worlds. The kitchen is large and spacious and the wood burner in the living room will keep everyone (including your pup) warm after a day of adventure.

The cottage is located only a minute’s walk from the local pub, perfect for after a Sunday roast where you can retire to the cosy fireplace! Falkland Palace is also only a five minute walk whilst St Andrews and Edinburgh are within 30-60 minutes drive.

11 Village

Portknockie

11 Village is a former fisherman’s cottage in the scenic area of Portsoy. Its beautiful whitewashed walls can host up to four guests and one pooch. With a well equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms and cosy sitting area, this cosy home is perfect for a weekend by the coast.

This cute property is located directly on the harbour front in Sandend. With golden sand stretching for miles, you and your canine companion will enjoy roaming around and breathing in the fresh sea air. There are a number of foot trails to explore and you can often spot dolphins, seals and orca from the clifftops!

Local towns Cullen and Portknockie are both located less than 10 miles away, so you have plenty to explore right on your doorstep.

The Wee Barn is located in the Scottish Highlands with the closest shop and pub 12-15 miles away. Sleeping up to two humans and two dogs, this pretty property is perfect for those looking for a tranquil weekend surrounded by nature.

We absolutely love the original beams that are on show throughout the cottage. Only a three minute drive to the beach, there is plenty of space for your pup to do zoomies on this adventure away from home!

You can also head over to Orkney via a short ferry ride where you’ll find beautiful views and 5,000 year old prehistoric monuments. There is plenty to keep you and your pooch occupied in this stunning location!

Ralston Bothy

Last but not least, this charming cottage on the east coast of Scotland is the perfect space for three humans and one dog. Ralston Bothy is situated within Strathmore Valley, 9.5 miles from Blairgowrie.
