🐾 Monty’s – Montagu Arms Hotel, Beaulieu
Monty’s is a traditional pub nestled within the Montagu Arms Hotel in the heart of Beaulieu. This dog-friendly gastro pub combines cosy country vibes with hearty seasonal food. Dogs are welcome throughout, where water bowls and fuss are guaranteed. It’s a great place to relax after a scenic stroll along the Beaulieu River.
Monty’s takes it one step further, with a dedicated A La Bark menu, treats on arrival and a cosy dog bed to relax on!

This charming pub near the coast is one of the most dog-friendly pubs in the New Forest. Part of the Vintage Inn group, The Cat & Fiddle welcomes dogs throughout the pub and garden. There’s even a dedicated doggy menu, making it a tail-wagging favourite after woodland or beach adventures.

Located in the heart of Lymington, Stanwell House offers a stylish spot for brunch, lunch or afternoon drinks. Dogs are welcome in the brasserie and garden terrace, making it a perfect stop during your visit to this beautiful coastal town. Just steps away from the marina, we found that Stanwell House is ideally positioned for a seaside stroll followed by a bite to eat. Oh and the terrace really is wonderful on a sunny day, with a glass of wine.

🐾 The Old Mill – Sway
Set beside a tranquil river in Sway, The Old Mill is a hidden gem with a warm, rustic atmosphere. Dogs are welcome in the bar and garden areas, where they’ll find water bowls and treats. This dog-friendly New Forest pub is great for a relaxed lunch or classic Sunday roast after a walk through the nearby countryside.
They even provide cosy blankets, so that dogs can sit beside you while you enjoy a bite to eat.

Just outside Lyndhurst in the picturesque hamlet of Bank, The Oak Inn is a classic dog-friendly New Forest pub with roaring fires, a sunny beer garden, and welcoming staff. Dogs were allowed inside and out, making The Oak Inn the perfect pitstop after exploring miles of nearby woodland trails. You’re likely to see ponies outside too, so I would recommend a window seat!
