Dogstival is back for 2025 and we are SO excited!
If you and your pooch love an action-packed day, Dogstival might just be the ulti-mutt day out! Taking place in the beautiful New Forest on the 31st of May and 1st of June 2025, this pawsome event is packed with activities, shopping and all things dog-friendly. But does it deserve the title of the UK’s best dog festival?
Here are some of our favourite things going on at Dogstival this year…
Breed Meets
Why is it so cute to see a whole pack of the same breed in one place? Back by popular demand, join other owners and their pups for Breed Meets at The White Buck Buddies Bar. It’s a brilliant chance to meet, socialize and relax. Whilst they can’t cover every breed, this year, Dogstival Owners have grouped together some breeds so that more can join in the fun!
Don’t forget to share your photos with us and keep an eye on the Dogstival website for timings.

Top Dawg Show Ring
Home to the ever popular Fun Dog Show with nine categories – from the fun and silly to stories that will melt your heart. Joining the entertainment will be a team of trainers and behaviourists. They’ll be dishing out tips to get your puppy on the right track, talking through how to fix typical behaviour problems and delving into the needs of different breeds.
Think your dog has what it takes to bring home the rosette? Spoiler alert – it’s a bit of fun, so we are all winners 🐕 The fun dog show isn’t about best in breed but just for giggles and every dog will take home a rosette! You’ll need to enter in advance, so click here to book your place.

White Buck Buddies Bar
This is where we’ll be! So come and say hi 👋🏼 The Tavern is set for major shake up this year, as it’s hosted by The White Buck in Burley, which means the pub will serve drinks and food for humans! The Dog Furiendly team will be hosting Barking Bingo and the Big Dog Pub Quiz will be hosted by Radio DJ, Mark Collins. It’s also the place to gather for the fabulous Breed Meets.
We absolutely love Dogstival, but we know it’s not possible for everyone to attend—whether it’s the dates or the location. If you’re looking for another dog-friendly event to enjoy in 2025, check out our list of paw-some alternatives here.
Personally, I’ve been to Dogstival for the last four years and absolutely loved it! The picture above shows me and my pugs, Oscar and Henry, in the Dog Furiendly tent (not knowing what was to come). The Dog Furiendly team have attended for the last five years, so I am so excited to be taking over the reins (or leads) this year! We look forward to seeing you all there 🥳

The Naturo Healthy Hound Kitchen
New to Dogstival this year is the Naturo Healthy Hound Kitchen. Every dog loves food, right?
There’s demonstrations from chefs with recipes your dog will love, as well as top tips from Naturo’s nutrition team. The Cookery school will be whipping up delicious treats from biscuits to lollipops. Plus a Tea Pawty for all birthday dogs with cake, treats and a celebratory photo!

Have A Go Activities
Dogs want to be part of everything, whether it’s whizzing along flyball jumps, weaving through the agility arenas or tackling one of the five scurries sniffing out treats or toys.
Dogstival has built it’s own Barkour adventure playground for dogs of all shapes and sizes. There’s also puppy agility for little ones and giant dog pools to launch from or just take a leisurely paddle to cool off.
It’s worth adding that everything is free to take part in, except the K9 Dog Diving Pool.

Dan The Hat’s Barking Mad Family Area
With the help of award-winning family festival entertainer Dan the Hat, Dogstival has curated six totally brilliant shows including giant trapeze acts, daredevil antics and a delightful mix of high energy, cartoon-esque physical comedy and circus stunts.
Get ready to laugh out loud, hold your breath at death defying stunts, witness jaw-dropping acrobatics and tap along to musical shows. Plus, there are heaps of family-friendly workshops to get involved with. It’s not just about the dogs at the Family Arena…
