The Alverton
This luxurious but laid back accomodation is in the heart of the Cornish capital. Surrounded by manicured gardens this four-star hotel is steeped in history. Once a convent, this grade II listed building still has its original features and the architecture is breath-taking.
If the setting wasn’t enough, The Alverton boasts its own award winning restaurant and 51 rooms with traditional luxury furnishings. Dogs are always welcome here and even receive their own food and water bowls in addition to a cosy blanket and gourmet treats.
Hotel Penzance
This hotel is in a great location right in the centre of Penzance. Many of the rooms in these old Edwardian houses have stunning sea views and look out across Penzance Bay itself.
In addition to the stylish boutique bedrooms Hotel Penzance offers award winning cuisine. The modern restaurant has a decked terrace and serves a modern European style menu featuring lots of local produce. The rooms are furnished contemporarily and each room has its own private courtyard, terrace or balcony. There are only 34 bedrooms in the hotel and every one has fantastic sea views.
This hotel is a place of natural calm to begin with but also has its own fully equipped spa. Enjoy a relax in the outdoor hot tubs in the sea air or sweat it out in the wooden sauna that overlooks the Mawgan Porth sand. After a hard day’s relaxation you can dine in the onsite seasonal Scarlet Restaurant.
Karma St Martins
Located off the Cornish coast this charming hotel is just 40 yards from the beachfront in St Martins. The setting is beautiful, uncrowded and unspoiled while still having all the features you could need for a great getaway. This hotel is in fact the only one on the island.
This means that they are extra accommodating to our furry friends. Dogs are welcomed immediately with a VIP (very important pet) registration form, a welcome treat, bowls and blankets!
