Wag This Way 2023 – Join the Fun Dog Walk for City Hospice

City Hospice is thrilled to announce that its highly-anticipated event, Wag this Way, is back and ready to wag its tail this Spring! On March 26th, dog owners and their furry friends are invited to come and enjoy a day out at Bute Park, Cardiff in support of City Hospice’s cause.

The event will kick off with a 5km sponsored dog walk through the beautiful park, followed by a dog show hosted by Dog Furiendly. Here, pooches can show off their best moves and compete for categories such as Handsome Hound, Gorgeous Girl, and Dazzling Duo.

Admiral Pet is proud to be the headline sponsor of this year’s Wag this Way event and is looking forward to supporting the cause. The registration fee includes a doggy bandana and once you complete the walk, you’ll be gifted a goody bag from Burns Pet Food Nutrition.

This is the perfect opportunity for dog owners in the community to come together, make new friends, and celebrate their furry friends. Alongside the dog walk and show, there will be a variety of stalls for you to browse from 10am-4pm. If you’d like to have a stall, more information can be found on City Hospice’s website.

By participating in Wag this Way, you’ll be supporting City Hospice, the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in Cardiff. They offer essential care and support to patients, as well as counseling and support for families.

The entry fee for the 5km walk is £10 per adult (16+) and includes entry, participant number, doggy bandana, and goody bag from Burns Pet Food Nutrition. Children between the ages of 3 and 15 can participate for £5 and 0-2-year-olds are free to attend. Wag this Way t-shirts can also be purchased in advance for £10 for adults and £8 for children.

City Hospice are really to welcome you and your furry friends to this year’s Wag this Way event. Join us in supporting this important cause and make memories that will last a lifetime!
