3 Dog Friendly Foodie Finds In Richmond Upon Dogs

Being a relatively new dog owner to the worlds cutest sausage dogs, one of my favourite things to do in my spare time is explore!

Living in the heart of the capital means we have so many unique spots on our doorstep, and being fortunate enough to live in one of the greenest boroughs gives us an even greater advantage. Richmond is a relatively small pocket of south west London with some brilliant hidden dog-friendly gems – keep reading to hear some of our favourite spots!

Paws for Coffee

Hampton Hill, TW12 1NB

Based opposite the beautiful Bushy Park, Paws for Coffee is a hot destination for local doggos, with a vast menu catering for vegan, gluten free and vegetarian diets. Each dog is treated with love and affection; sausages are provided, as well as a variety of canine snacks including puppucinos and stuffed calf hooves. All of the staff are mad about dogs! Wags n Tales

Twickenham, TW1 3AW

Just a stones throw away from Marble Hill House and Orleans Gallery, Wags n Tales is a quirky restaurant with a vast menu, ranging from breakfasts to evening cocktails. All food is vegan and vegetarian friendly and there’s a huge range of beers and wines, as well alcohol free drinks and delicious coffee. The outdoor garden is cosy and ambient with fairy lights and heaters, making it a great destination all year round. Dogs are treated as royalty and pupcakes and doggy scones are a must-have for all four legged friends. (Instagram – @wagsntalescbk)

The Press Room

This indépendant cafe is a local hub for the whole community. The artwork supplied by independent artists and variety of houseplants makes it feel incredibly welcoming, and it is known for serving the best coffee in the area. Often filled with people working, friends gathering and individuals enjoying their own company, the coffee shop is relaxed and calm for dogs of all shapes and sizes. (Instagram – @pressroomcoffee)
