Hold on to your leads, dog lovers! Our favourite festival, the award-winning Dogstival is back. This year, it’s not just about the best day out for your furry friends – it’s also about saving the planet! Dogstival, crowned ‘Best Pet Day Out in the UK,’ is set to become one of the nation’s most sustainable festivals. Aiming to slash their CO2 emissions in half, Dogstival is pulling out all the eco-friendly stops to ensure this year’s event is their greenest yet.
Green Paws on Deck
Dogstival has always been a frontrunner in celebrating our canine companions, but this year, they’re stepping up their game to protect our planet. Our favourite festival is on a mission to halve its CO2 emissions. How? By integrating cutting-edge renewable technology, including solar and wind power, to energise the event. This innovative approach not only powers the festival’s numerous attractions but does so in a way that drastically reduces its carbon footprint.

That’s not all, Dogstival is banning single-use plastics, a bold move that significantly minimises waste. The backup generators, a necessity for any large-scale event, will run on eco-friendly biofuel, reducing emissions by a whopping 74%. These are not just incremental changes; they’re transformative actions that set a new standard for environmental responsibility in the festival scene.
A Tail-Wagging Good Time
Dogstival 2024 promises to be an action-packed weekend with more ‘have a go’ activities than any other dog festival in the UK. Whether your dog is a seasoned pro or just looking for some fun, there’s something for everyone. From agility courses and flyball to diving in splash pools, your dog can indulge in a plethora of activities designed to thrill and challenge. The Scurry Village, Barkour setups, and dedicated scent work areas ensure that every dog, regardless of their skill level or interests, finds something exciting to do.
For the music lovers, the Hound Dog Music Stage will feature live entertainment throughout the weekend. Health-conscious hounds can visit the Canine MOT Centre for the latest in doggy health and wellbeing. And with over 130 stands selling everything from treats to toys, your dog will be spoiled for choice. Highlights include puppuccinos from Pop & Bark and tasty delights at the Lickie Mat Café.
Guess Who Is Back For 2024?
Dog Furiendly is back with the Muddy Paws Tavern. That means one thing, Barking Bingo and our annual Big Pup Quiz. Don’t miss the popular breed meet-ups – it’s the perfect chance for your pooch to make some new furry friends.

A Word from the Dogstival Co-Founder
Richard Nowell, Dogstival Co-Founder, says: “With Dogstival held in the heart of the New Forest National Park and as residents, we are aware how important it is to deliver the festival as sustainably as possible. The events industry has been guilty of generating a lot of waste and inviting 10,000 people to a large field requires a lot of temporary power. So, we’ve put in place a range of initiatives to cut our carbon emissions… I believe this puts Dogstival towards the top bracket of the sustainable festivals in the UK”
Why You Can’t Miss Dogstival 2024
Dogstival 2024 isn’t just an event; it’s a movement towards more responsible, fun-filled, and inclusive celebrations. It’s where good times and green vibes meet, all in the company of our beloved canine companions. Don’t miss out on this barking brilliant festival!
