Show-Stopping Hat Auction to Raise Funds for Dogs In Need

Have you ever wanted to own a Haute Couture hat by a top international milliner? Well, your op-paw-tunity is here! London-based milliner Awon Golding and animal welfare charity Jai Dog Rescue are auctioning off a range of fabulous hats to raise funds for Jai Dog Rescue.

The Auction is an online charity fundraiser where unique designs from world renowned milliners, including Queen Elizabeth II’s milliner Rachel Trevor-Morgan, made especially for the 2023 Haute Dogs calendar, are available to bid on to become your very own.

“We’re so excited to give the public the opportunity to own one of these incredible pieces of art, all in aid of dogs in need. It’s guilt-free shopping at its best. The Auction is a truly compassionate online charity event, where 100% of winning bids will be donated to assist Jai Dog Rescue, saving the lives of countless street dogs in Thailand.”

Rachel Trevor-Morgan, milliner to the late HRH Queen Elizabeth II and royal warrant holder said: “I am so pleased to be involved in this project. It is such a positive and joyful endeavour making a real difference to many homeless dogs.”

The auction is a follow up to the hugely successful fundraising campaign where 13 Jai Dog Rescue dogs modelled the hats to create the popular Haute Dogs 2023 calendar, which already raised over £14,000 through calendar sales.

How can I take part in the auction?

The auction will run online for 11 days, launching on Sunday the 6th of November at 12pm GMT and will run until Thursday the 17th of November at 9pm GMT. Details for the online auction will be announced in the coming weeks.

The auction culminates on the night of the inaugural Jai Dog Rescue event, an evening of cocktails, canapés, luxury prize draw and networking.

HATS OFF: An evening with Haute Dogs in support of Jai is taking place on Thursday 17th November. Ticket registration here.

It’s a real honour to be partnering with Haute Dogs on such a joyful and meaningful campaign. To now be able to share the project in-person with such an exciting event, is the perfect way to show people just how magical Thai street dogs really are. We’re so proud of all the models involved and can’t wait to celebrate all the lives that will be transformed thanks to this campaign”
