Dog Friendly Cabin Escapes For Your Mini Moon in the UK

Weddings are full of hustle and bustle. After the wedding whirlwind, there’s nothing better than having something else to look forward to. More and more dog owners are opting for sharing their happiness with the dogs by booking a dreamy little mini moon, right here in the UK.

Our friend @lilahthewhippet spent a long time searching for a magical mini moon break where her dog could bask in the happiness too. In this article, they’re sharing some of the dog friendly cabin escapes that made the shortlist.

When embarking on my own search for the ideal UK-based mini moon, we had no idea just how many styles of staycation there are to choose from. Dog friendly cabin holidays quickly became one of our firm favourites. Solitude and long walks leave you as close to nature as possible without having to pack a tent. All of the grounded-ness of camping, but with an actual bed, electricity and utensils.

If you would like to feel at one with nature after the rush of your wedding, there is no better way to glamp in style than in a cosy cabin, just big enough for two humans and a their four-legged friend. Between you and I, we ended up choosing one of these options for our own mini-moon.

Rest + Wild, Shropshire

Surrounded by nothing but nature, Rest + Wild is right in the heart of Shropshire. With log burners, outdoor baths and stunning views, this will be one of your more recuperative mini moon options.

Every cabin is dog friendly and you’ll find dog bowls inside the cabin. As there are sheep roaming close to most of the cabins in fields so whilst it’s recommended that you keep your dog on the lead, there is a stake outside the cabin that you can tie your dog to whilst the enjoy relaxing outside with you. However, if you book The Sparrow, you will be in a semi-enclosed woodland which offers more privacy and a bit more outdoor space for your doggo to enjoy.
