Love Island’s Laura Anderson Supports Bark Aid

Our tails are wagging and we’re howling from the roof! Laura Anderson from ITV’s Love Island is supporting our virtual dog show called Bark Aid.

Bark Aid is our annual charity dog show. During the pandemic, we’re raising funds for over 20 charities who desperately need support to cope with Coronavirus (COVID-19). Charities include FareShare who redistribute food to frontline charities and Age UK the leading charity for older people.

To take part in the virtual dog show, dog owners will upload photos of their beloved pooch in a series of fun categories.

Laura Joins The Judging Panel

A panel of judges, including Laura Anderson and TOWIE’s Pete Wicks, will then select the top dogs to win rosettes and prizes sponsored by dog-related businesses across the UK.

Islander Laura Anderson and her Pomeranian Buddy are joining over 1,500 other dog owners who have taken part in this nationwide social media craze, to date raising £2,300.

Laura said, “As a huge dog lover it was a perfect match for me to be involved with Bark Aid. I feel so lucky at this time especially living alone to have my loving pooch Buddy by my side.”

“I’m thrilled to be a judge and supporter. This campaign is lifting community spirits and raising money for those in need. It’s a woofing good idea!”

The campaign has also gathered support from pupfluencers such as Winnie the Cocker Spaniel famed for having ‘Disney eyes’ and Kratu the rescue dog who recently made a show stopping appearance at Crufts by stealing an agility bar.
