Burns Pet Nutrition Joins The Pack As Our Official Pet Food Sponsor

Our tails are wagging to welcome Burns Pet Nutrition as our official dog food partner and sponsor for the year.

Burns Pet Nutrition has built an award-winning reputation as the go-to brand for those seeking a natural healthy approach to pet food.

They have been an important part of our journey at Dog Furiendly. From supplying goody bags at our tail-wagging events to supporting our group walks in communities across the UK.

At the core of both of our brands lies similar values to improve the quality of life for pets and their owners, making us a natural fit. Together we can combine high-quality nutrition with healthy lifestyles and travel. Above all this, we’re proud to be working alongside another Wales’-based company.

As part of the agreement and when pandemic restrictions ease, Burns ‘Lead The Way’ dog walking scheme will underpin our monthly group dog walks in different locations across the UK.

While restrictions are still in place, we’ll be collaborating on a virtual Lead The Way dog walking campaign which will be announced in the coming weeks.

John Burns, founder and MD of Burns Pet Nutrition said,

“Burns has been engaging pet parents with natural food, pet advice, walks and more for over 27 years now and we love to work with like-minded people like Adele and James. We could see a really good fit between the work we do at Burns with our pan UK Lead the Way Walks and the UK explorer walks Dog Furiendly do. Burns are real advocates of dog friendly tourism, having previously being invited to judge and sponsor dog friendly tourism awards in Wales in the past.

We love the idea of a trip advisor for dogs and their owners: many of our customers are doting pet parents and so we are servicing the same people. We are confident this will be a strong partnership and look forward to beating the challenges in the year ahead.

Dog Furiendly will be hosting our Lead the Way walks across the UK with the help of their explorer community and we will be supplying goodie bags for explorers when the walks get back up and running.  In the meantime, we will co-host virtual walks on social media and reward people for their efforts to be healthy and happy with their pets.”

Adele Pember founder of Dog Furiendly said,

“Our tails are wagging to expand on our long-standing relationship with Burns by welcoming them as our official pet food sponsor. At the core of both of our brands lies similar values to improve the quality of life for pets and their owners, making us a natural fit. Together we can combine high quality nutrition with healthy lifestyles and travel.

“Above all this, being able to work alongside another Wales’-based company means we share a similar passion for this beautiful country. Our collaboration with Burns offers an elevated opportunity to reach and engage with dog owners across Wales and the rest of the UK in creative and innovative ways.”
