Following the successful implementation of a dog friendly policy at Swansea Indoor Market over the past 18 months, this latest development brings Swansea one step closer to becoming a city that embraces our canine companions with open arms.
Lisa Hartley, the Manager of Quadrant Shopping Centre, expressed her excitement about this groundbreaking news: “We are thrilled to be Wales’s first dog friendly indoor shopping centre. Claire Leahy, store manager at The Body Shop, shared her excitement: “We absolutely love welcoming dogs of all shapes and sizes into our store! As passionate dog lovers ourselves, this news is the best thing that could happen to us!”
Sam Davies, a store manager at Schuh, added: “Our entire team becomes giddy with joy when a dog strolls into our store. Their presence instantly brightens the mood for both our team and customers alike! Doggy Etiquette
To ensure the utmost convenience and comfort for dog owners and their precious pets, The Quadrant Shopping Centre has implemented a set of guidelines, including the following:
- Well behaved dogs only
- All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control of their owners at all times.
- Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
- Dogs exhibiting aggressive or disruptive behaviour will be asked to leave the premises for the safety and comfort of all visitors.
